Carl was born in San Antonio, Texas, but moved to Charleston in 1998 when his dad moved "home" to Charleston when he retired from 22 years in the US Army. His dad drilled into Carl and his sister the discipline and follow-through so necessary to success in the military. After graduating high school, Carl attended both the Art Institute of Charleston and Trident Technical College while working in food services. Later, he moved on to cable installation but wanted to work with people, so he applied for a job at Paradise RV and was hired two weeks later. Carl has worked at Paradise RV for a year and currently wears many hats: videographer, camera man (you've probably seen he and Nate on videos!), sales, manager of rental fleet, and, sometimes, he moonlights as technician!
